My path to my passion

Experience in a variety of Obstetrical settings led me to pursue a path in search of ensuring the best quality and safest care for all pregnant patients. Training in an urban, underserved community with very high risk, complex patients embedded commitment to minimizing bias and standardizing care by best practice and evidence. Practicing in a small community with limited resources emphasized readiness and response. Promotion to corporate clinical leadership provided a force-multiplier affect that couldn't be ignored in its benefit to our patients. My passion is making the practice of Obstetrics the safest and highest quality for patients, whilst supporting and empowering physicians and other care providers to make evidence-based choices as a standard. My goal is to shift culture in Obstetric care to one of trust, safety, just response and high reliability.
